The Delhi University has released its third cut-off list. While many prominent DU colleges have not come out with cut-offs for some courses, some are still offering seats for popular courses.
Over 33,000 admissions have taken place to over 56,000 seats in the university. Shri Ram College of Commerce has not issued cut-offs for its courses in the general category.
With close to half of total seats already taken across 60 plus colleges of the varsity, many colleges still issued cut-off for courses like English, Economics, and B.A.
Lady Shri Ram College offered English Honours and Economics at 97.25 and 97.5 per cent, while the same two courses were offered by Hans Raj College at 95.75 and 97 per cent. Shri Ram College of Commerce, which teaches only two courses (Economics and B.com Honours), closed admission in both by the second cut off.
While it closed admission in most other courses, Hindu College asked for 96.75 and 97.50 for English and Economics.
More than 10 colleges have closed admissions for BCom (Hons) after the first two cut-off lists. Among them are Bharti College, Lady Shri Ram College, Kirorimal College, Maitreyi College and Daulat Ram.
DU has, for now, announced a total of three cut-off lists. The first cut-off list was announced on June 19, and the third on June 29, Friday.
