Delhi: Light showers bring relief from humid weather
The national capital woke up to light rain early on Thursday morning, which brought relief from the persistently humid weather.
A bomb threat was received by Delhi Public School, R K Puram on Friday which turned to be hoax, a police official said.
The threat message was received through an e-mail addressed to the school’s principal in the morning. The school immediately informed the local police station and vacated students from the premises.
A thorough search operation was launched at the school and the adjoining hostel premises, however, nothing suspicious was found, police said.

DCP (South West) Rohit Meena said the school was thoroughly searched by sniffer dogs and the bomb disposal squad, but nothing dubious was found.
He said the origin of the threat e-mail is being tracked and further legal action will be taken accordingly.
Two such hoax bomb calls were reported in South Delhi schools last year.
