In a bid to make Delhi drug-free in 3 yrs, month-long drive from Dec 1
Lieutenant Governor (LG) VK Saxena has announced a one-month anti-drug campaign, starting from 1st December, in a bid to combat the menace of drug abuse in the national capital.
As per the data, the active number of cases now stands at 4832 taking the cumulative number of positive cases at 18,78,458.
Delhi on Wednesday reported 1367 fresh Covid 19 cases and one death in the last 24 hours, according to data released by the city’s health department.
With this, the positivity rate stands at 4.50 percent, taking the cumulative positivity rate to 4.97 percent.
Besides, a total of 30,346 tests have been conducted in the last 24 hours.

As per the data, the active number of cases now stands at 4832 taking the cumulative number of positive cases at 18,78,458.
A total of 1042 patients have been recovered in a day taking the total number of recoveries to 18,47,456.
Apart from this, 57168 people have been vaccinated in the last 24 hours of which 8047 have received their first dose while 30633 beneficiaries have received their second dose of vaccine.
The cumulative number of beneficiaries vaccinated with precaution dose has now mounted to 18488
The number of daily cases in Delhi had been on the decline after touching the record high of 28,867 on January 13. But in last few days, the city has again seen a spike in the number of Covid cases.
Delhi had recorded a positivity rate of 30.6 per cent on January 14, the highest during the ongoing wave of the pandemic.
