Additionally, cash worth Rs 34,000, one gold chain of 20 grams, 15 stolen motorcycles and a tempo, were also seized, he added.
The accused was involved in supplying illegal firearms to the Nandu-Jyoti criminal group active in Delhi and NCR.
With the arrest of a gunrunner the Delhi Police Special Cell claimed to have busted a syndicate involved in trafficking weapons in the Delhi- NCR, the police said on Thursday.
The accused has been identified as Farman, a resident of Uttar Pradesh’s Saharanpur, was involved in supplying illegal firearms to the Nandu-Jyoti criminal group active in Delhi and NCR, a police official said.
The police have recovered a total of 10 pistols from his possession, which include five semi- automatic high quality pistols of .32 bore and five single shot pistols of .315 bore, the police said.

According to the police, they received a tip-off regarding Farman’s arrival at the Mori Gate’s interstate bus parking near the Gokhale road in Old Delhi area on Tuesday.
Based on the input received by the Special Cell team, a trap was laid at the said location, and at around 8 a.m. in the morning hours of Tuesday, the accused was apprehended.
Upon search, a total ten firearms (five semi-automatic high quality pistols and five single-shot pistols) were recovered from his possession along with ammunition for the same weapons.
The recovered firearms and ammunition were seized by the police team and accordingly a case under section 25/25(8) of the Arms Act was registered with the Special Cell.
It was later during questioning of the accused, he revealed that about a year ago, in a bid to earn quick money, he began procuring illegal weapons from Madhya Pradesh and supplied them to various criminal groups in Delhi- NCR, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana.
He further disclosed that he used to purchase illegal arms from a person known as Krishna, who is a resident of Barwani, Madhya Pradesh.
For one semi-automatic pistol, Farman paid Rs 12,000, and for a single shot pistol he paid Rs 5,000.
The selling price for a pistol was between Rs 25000- Rs 30000 for a semi- auto pistol and Rs 8000 to Rs 10000 for a single shot pistol, he told the police.
Meanwhile, in the year 2022, he was arrested under NDPS Act at Shamli, Uttar Pradesh, for possession of contraband.
Further interrogation and investigation is in progress, while police is also working on linkages of the accused, a police official added.
