Income tax relief beyond expectations, Delhi going to benefit the most: BJP
As announced by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, under the new tax regime, individuals with an income of up to Rs 12 lakh will pay no income tax.
A man was shot at by two robbers who attempted to rob him near a money exchange company in Delhi’s Connaught Place area on Wednesday, police said.
The incident occurred near Block-A in Connaught Place at around 10.45 am. The victim, identified as Tasveer Singh, was rushed to the RML hospital, where his condition was termed out of danger.

“The persons who attacked him have escaped. We are investigating the case,” a police official said.

As per media reports, the attackers wearing masks were waiting for Singh in the market since 8 am. They fired at him after he raised an alarm during the snatching.
The CCTV footage are being scanned by the police to identify the assailants. According to media reports, the bag did not contain any cash.
