Minister urges cycle manufacturers to offer incentives to encourage cycling
Union Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports Mansukh Mandaviya Tuesday urged cycle manufacturers to offer incentives to encourage cycling across all age groups.
Besides, a painting contest by children will also be organised on 6th March with a condition that one of the parents must donate blood at this camp.
Luxmi Narayan Mandir,Sector-56 is organising a mega Blood Donation camp at Lawn Tennis Ground of Noida Stadium on 6 March between 8.30 am to 5.00 pm under ‘75 years of Indian independence, ‘Aazadi ka Amrit Mahostsava’.
To motivate people to donate blood, cycle rallies were organised today, -one from Noida Stadium by youths and one from Luxmi Narayan Mandir, Sector-56 by Children. A similar cycle rally was organized on Saturday moving around in Sectors 17,18 and other residential areas.

Besides, a painting contest by children will also be organised on 6th March with a condition that one of the parents must donate blood at this camp. .

51 participants will be suitably rewarded and the first five will be given special prizes.
Police Commissioner Mr Alok Singh has assured the organisers that he would not only be the first Blood Donor on this day but also pursue people from his force to participate in this event as blood donors.
Dr. Mahesh Sharma, MP from Gautam Budh Nagar and former Cabinet Minister has agreed to be the Chief Guest during the occasion.
