LoP Gupta asks Atishi for special session for laying CAG reports in the House
Gupta wrote to Chief Minister Atishi on Thursday reiterating his demand to convene a special session of the Assembly for laying these reports in the House.
Finance Minister Atishi will present her maden budget on February 16.
Delhi Finance Minister Atishi will be presenting the budget for the first time in the Delhi Assembly’s upcoming session scheduled between February 15 and 20.
Atishi was assigned the finance portfolio last year.

According to official sources, the Delhi government’s budget for the year 2024-25 will be tabled on February 16.

The file related to the upcoming budget session has been sent to the Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena for approval.
This time, it is expected that the focus of the government will be on health and education in the upcoming budget, while also likely on important infrastructure.
Last year’s budget focused on adding and expanding the infrastructure in the national capital, also improving sanitation, transportation other than the government’s priority, which is health and education.
People, especially from those areas in Delhi that need various important infrastructure developments, are awaiting the budget with the hope that the government will address their issues.
