BJP indulges in ‘jugaad politics’ to divert attention from burning issues: Mayawati
She said instead of paying attention to public issues, these parties are busy in 'negative politics' with their false propaganda and promises before the elections.
The poster tweeted from the Delhi BJP’s Twitter handle, juxtaposes the original poster with the re-imagined version, under the title ‘Prison mein Break’ followed by the line, ‘Aap Ka Tihar Darbar Series.’
Amid the controversy over Delhi Minister Satyendar Jain’s purported jail cell CCTV footages, the BJP has come out with a popular American series ‘Prison Break’ inspired poster, where the faces of original actors have been replaced with those of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his jailed minister.
The poster tweeted from the Delhi BJP’s Twitter handle, juxtaposes the original poster with the re-imagined version, under the title ‘Prison mein Break’ followed by the line, ‘Aap Ka Tihar Darbar Series.’
“In USA: Prison Break series In Delhi: Prison (mein) Break series Relax, Rejuvenate, Rejoice in Tihar courtesy AAP govt,” read the tweet from BJP Delhi on Monday.

Earlier, after the latest CCTV footage from the prison purportedly showing housekeeping service for the jailed minister surfaced on Sunday, the BJP accused the Delhi CM of converting Tihar jail into a “5-star resort with room service”.
The viral footage on Sunday morning showed men sweeping the floor of the jail cell and also arranging Jain’s bed.
Reacting to it, BJP national spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla hit out at the AAP government in Delhi and said this was the evidence of ‘khaas aadmi’ (special person) treatment to the “corrupt minister”.
“After providing maalish (massage) from a child rapist and a 5-course meal, now this video shows how AAP is providing room service and housekeeping inside Tihar to Satyendar Jain. Inside the Tihar, there is Satyendar Jain ka Darbar. From watching TV to drinking mineral water, to all kinds of services being provided. This is evidence of the ‘khaas aadmi’ treatment given to corrupt ministers who are not getting bail from courts for the last 5 months,” Poonawalla said.
“First a child rapist was projected as a physiotherapist and then a lie was told in court that no food was being given and Jain who has lost weight of 28 kgs,” the BJP leader said.
He added that the court on Saturday slammed the AAP government for providing special VVIP treatment to Satyendar Jain violating DPR 2018 and the Constitution.
Poonawalla further demanded immediate dismissal of the jailed minister.
“Will Kejriwal still defend such a person or tender apology before the country for this VVIP facility to a corrupt minister?” he added.
The footage in question, according to the sources, on Sunday morning showed men sweeping the floor of the jail cell and also arranging the Jain’s bed.
In the visual dated September 12, Jain was seen interacting with other people inside his jail cell.
This is ostensibly the fourth CCTV footage relating to Jain. The first purported visuals, which appeared on November 19, showed the minister getting a full body massage.
The second footage that went viral in social media on November 23, a day after Jain’s counsel claimed inside the trial court that the minister had lost 28 kg of weight during his custody.
In the footage, Jain was seen having an elaborate and extensive meal. Interestingly, sources said the minister had gained 8 kg weight instead.
In the third purported footage November 26, the minister was seen having a conversation with some people, including currently suspended Jail superintendent Ajit Kumar.
Earlier on Saturday, Poonawalla slammed the AAP over the November 26 video of Jain and termed it as “AAP ka darbar of Bhrashtachar”.
Poonawalla said this was the third video in the series — first AAP made a ‘spa’ in Tihar where Delhi minister Satyendra Jain got a ‘maalish’ from a child rapist and AAP labelled it as “physiotherapy”.
Then he was served a 5-course meal but he claimed he was being starved.
Now a video shows how he was allowed to hold a “darbar” inside jail, Poonawalla claimed.
