Addressing the media on Thursday, the AAP leader claimed that AAP leaders received messages threatening them with CBI notices to be issued on Saturday or Monday and the arrest of the AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal by the CBI and the ED if the party won’t leave the INDIA bloc.
Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader Atishi, on Thursday, alleged that her party was being intimidated for sharing seats with the Congress as part of the Opposition INDIA coalition.
She noted that the ultimatum has come close on the heels of a seat-sharing arrangement between the AAP and the Congress for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. She sought to remind the saffron party that democracy is the rule of the public where it can choose a party by casting votes while the parties have the right to form an alliance.

Atishi asked the BJP, “If you feel you can scare the AAP or its Arvind Kejriwal by adopting such strong-arm tactics, you are sadly mistaken. Will you still resort to threats of CBI-ED notices and arrest?”
She asserted that the AAP and its convenor will not be cowed down by the threats of arrest. “You can send all the leaders of the party behind bars, the party workers will emerge as new leaders and protect the people and the constitution of the country,” she challenged.
Earlier in the day, reacting to the fresh summons to Arvind Kejriwal by the ED, Atishi alleged it was an attempt by the saffron party to take “revenge” for what happened in Chandigarh mayoral polls with the Supreme Court verdict in favour of the AAP.
She claimed that the fresh notice by the federal agency was to cow down the AAP leader and the party.
