Black Warrant shows the horrors of Tihar Jail, but subtly
The latest Hindi prison drama, Black Warrant, in the form of a Netflix series, created by Vikramaditya Motwane and Satyanshu Singh, may have a smattering of all that we have seen in Bandini.
According to the Delhi Police, for the first time, he has demanded something after he underwent the narco test. Of course, the jail authorities have provided him with the ‘Great Railway Bazaar,’ an English novel.
Aftab Amin Poonawala, the suspect in the gruesome Shraddha Walker murder case, has sought novels to read inside the Tihar Jail where he has been lodged. He is learnt to have sought the novels where crime is not the issue.
The authorities have feared that Aftab may harm himself or others inside the jail.

It has come to light that after killing Shaddha, Aftab first cut off her hands. During the narcotics test, he disclosed to have used a small saw for this cruel deed and thrown it somewhere.
The police team, investigating the case, has been looking for the weapon. They have been trying to find out whether the weapon was purchased before May 18 this year.
Notably, during the narco test, he confessed to have killed Shraddha when he was angry with her.
Aftab was taken by the Delhi Police on Thursday, on 1 December to the Ambedkar Hospital in Rohini where he underwent the narco test.
Aftab’s brain mapping test is expected to help the police find out the details of the incident.
