AAP-Cong alliance shows ruling party in Delhi has lost connect with city people: Sachdeva

Delhi BJP Chief Virendra Sachdeva

By deciding to ally with the Congress, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who has 62 of 70 seats in Delhi assembly, has shown that he has lost faith in almost half of Delhi, said Delhi unit BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva on Saturday.

Reacting to the announcement regarding seat sharing between AAP and Congress for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, Sachdeva hit out at both the parties over the alliance, claiming that the people of Delhi are shocked to see them joining hands for the elections.

Sachdeva further exuded confidence saying that irrespective of the alliance between AAP and Congress, the BJP will continue with its winning streak and bag all the seven seats of Delhi, and that too with a huge margin with support from all the sections of the society.

The BJP leader further slammed the AAP and Congress saying that it came as a surprise to the people that till the other day both the parties called each other corrupt and now, AAP leadership which was formed to fight corruption of Congress led UPA and Delhi’s erstwhile government, has now surrendered before Congress for its political survival, Sachdeva alleged.

The Delhi BJP chief further said that Northwest Delhi is a SC reserved seat, which has a large rural population, also consists of people belonging to scheduled caste, and by surrendering the seat to Congress, AAP leadership has confirmed that it has lost connect with the voters coming from the marginalised sections.

He further accused the AAP of denying development opportunities to far flung areas of Delhi that house both rural and Dalit population, the BJP leader added.

Delhi BJP chief further slammed AAP and the Delhi CM saying that despite winning 62 out of the 70 seats in Delhi assembly, it shows they have lost faith in almost half of Delhi.
