According to a report in the Hindustan Times, the accused woman allegedly lured the girl to her home and then took her to a forested area nearby. First, the woman got the girl inebriated, and then let her boyfriend, Mukesh, rape the minor.
“The woman tried to trick the girl into drinking alcohol by mixing it with soft drinks. When the girl refused to drink, her aunt forced her. The woman and Mukesh too were drinking,” said the police.
While the woman has been arrested, Mukesh is on the run.
After the alleged assault, the girl returned home. Her father noticed that she was bleeding and took her to hospital where doctors confirmed rape.
The girl, who was hospitalised for 24 hours, is now out of danger.
A case has been registered under Indian Penal Code sections 376 (rape), 328 (causing hurt by intoxicating substance with intent to commit an offence), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 120B (criminal conspiracy).
