Three criminals shot dead a head constable of Delhi Police in Kharkhauda area on Sunday evening.
The deceased head constable has been identified as Sarabjeet Singh who was posted at Sultanpuri police station of Delhi. The motorcycle-borne assailants are yet to be identified.

Police, however, have launched a massive manhunt to identify and nab the shooters.

SP (Rural) Rajesh Kumar said that the police is working on the case and the assailants would soon be arrested.
The incident was reported at around 4 pm in Kharkhauda area where Sarabjeet Singh had come to attend a function in Gurudwara of village Kabatta.
The three gunmen followed Sarabjeet’s car when he was returning to Delhi with his family after attending the function.
They shot at him even as the car was moving. A bullet hit Singh’s neck.
Eyewitnesses called the police which rushed to the spot and took the injured cop to the hospital where he was declared dead.
The assailants managed to escape immediately after shooting Singh.
Senior officials also rushed to the spot and investigation has been started but the police are yet to know the motive behind the murder.
