Recently, PWD Minister Sateyndar Jain had directed his department to issue the same so that complaints of water-logging could be resolved at the earliest.
Last month, the Delhi government had warned that if the residents suffered due to water-logging during the monsoon season, the officers concerned would face action.
In a recent note to Chief Secretary M M Kutty, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had also cautioned against the desilting of drains "only on papers", saying such anomalies must stop.
Lt Governor Anil Baijal had also constituted a high-level committee headed by the PWD Secretary to look after desilting of drains and open manholes.
It was aimed at better coordination between multiple agencies to tackle the water-logging problem.
