Atishi visits Rangpuri, pledges swift action on civic issues
Delhi Chief Minister Atishi visited Rangpuri Pahadi in South West Delhi on Sunday to address grievances after Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena highlighted the area's civic challenges.
The body of Balwant Ram was first noticed by a sweeper who immediately informed the police. A case was registered in the matter.
The body of a 25-year-old man was found floating in a pond in southwest Delhi on Tuesday, police said.
The deceased was identified as Balwant Ram.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Devender Arya said Balwant Ram, who hailed from Uttarakhand’s Chamoli, used to work in a canteen at the Golf Course near Dhaula Kuan in south Delhi.

He left the canteen around 10.30 p.m. on Monday but did not reach home. On Tuesday morning, a sweeper noticed his body and informed the police.
“On Monday, he left the canteen at around 10 pm but did not reach his house in Sagarpur,” the DCP said.
“There weren’t any apparent injuries on the body and it has been sent for post-mortem,” the officer said.
The deceased was identified as Balwant Ram, a native of Chamoli district in Uttarakhand.
