Siliguri’s first and popular shopping complex, Cosmos Mall, is presently celebrating its 10th anniversary. The anniversary celebrations that started on 12 January with fun-filled performances by students of schools across Siliguri and with a footfall of over 50,000 students at the Food Festival at the Mega Mall, has more events lined up for Republic Day on Friday.
Officials at the Mall said they will be marking the country’s Republic Day with showstopper events like cultural shows, fun activities for children and families, the lucky draw, culinary art, cake cutting ceremony, Music & DJ, flash mob, and fusion and dance performances.
Customers will be welcomed with the khadas (traditional scarf ) and the cultural shows will include tribal dances, the officials added. “The Mall has grown with lots of brands, lots of customers and most importantly lots of love from the people of Siliguri, which has made Cosmos the Mega Mall of Siliguri,” Mall officials said.
“Every single person who walks into the shopping centre should have an experience is what the team at the Mall wants. Not just come, buy something and leave, but know that stepping into COSMOS means that this is going to be an awesome day,” said Bharat Shishodia, the Centre Manager, Cosmos Mall.
