USAID row: Congress slams BJP, demands white paper
The grand old party also said that the “white paper” should not only focus on USAID funding, but all such agencies which fund both Governments, individuals and all other entities under Indian law.

Congress party on has expelled, 23 of its party leaders, for anti-party activities during the recently held Assembly elections.
The list of 23 Congress leaders includes Yadupati Thakur from Sarkaghat Assembly constituency, a close aide of Himachal Pradesh Youth Congress chief Vikramaditya Singh son of Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh.

A Congress spokesperson said here on Wednesday that the Congress party taking disciplinary action against them, has expelled them for 6 years, for working against the official candidate of the party in the various Assembly constituencies and their primary membership has been cancelled for 6 years.
