Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Friday said the state government is committed to procure each and every grain of the farmers’ produce.
Disclosing this when a delegation of PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) called on him today, the CM said a special emphasis is being given on the promotion of agro-based and food processing industries in the state to ensure procurement of entire produce of the farmers.

The PHDCCI delegation led by its president Anil Khaitan congratulated the CM for Haryana being ranked third in the Ease of Doing Business. The CM said recently the Prime Minister (PM), Narendra Modi has announced to increase the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of Kharif crops in the larger interest of farmers.
As now the farmers would get handsome amount for their produce, they would want that their entire produce to be lifted by the state government. “I have assured PM Modi that each and every grain of the farmer will be procured by the state government”, Khattar added.
While underlining the significance of industrial sector in ushering growth and prosperity in the state, he said that the state government has taken several initiatives for the promotion of industries so as to ensure industrial development in the state and to create maximum employment opportunities for the youth.
Khattar said in order to ensure uniform industrial development of the State, the industries are being encouraged to set up their units in other parts of the State also besides Gurugram.
On this occasion, CM accepted the proposal to become the Chief Guest in the forthcoming State’s Conclave-2018 to be organized by PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry at Hotel Taj Palace in New Delhi on August 24.
It was informed that the conclave would focus on the meaningful exchange of dialogue of the prospective investors, who have shown inclination to invest in Haryana, with the State government. The conclave would see the presence of industry captains and investors, who already have their businesses in Haryana.
