Over 4,100 Looted Firearms Surrendered in Manipur Amid Ongoing Peace Efforts
More than 4,100 firearms looted from police armouries during the peak of ethnic violence in Manipur have been voluntarily surrendered to authorities till Saturday.

A civilian was injured on Saturday in clashes with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian district, police said.
Police sources said a stone-pelting mob attacked security forces in Daramdora village of Shopian when security personnel were laying a cordon and search operation following intelligence reports about the presence of militants there.

A civilian identified as Jahangir Ahmad was hit by a bullet during these clashes.

Doctors at the Pulwama district hospital said he had sustained an abdominal bullet injury and he has been referred to Srinagar for specialized treatment.
Till last reports came in, clashes in the Valley were going on.
