Haryana Director General of Police (DGP) Manoj Yadava on Monday paid homage to police martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the unity and integrity of the nation at the Police Memorial in Panchkula on the occasion of Police Commemoration Day.
Paying rich tributes to 292 martyrs from police and Central Armed Police Forces of last year, Yadava said that supreme sacrifice made by our brave hearts for maintaining unity and integrity of the country can never be forgotten. He said that this year, three brave police personnel of the state namely sub-inspector Ranbir Singh, Suresh Kumar, and head constable Yashpal have also sacrificed their lives in the line of duty.

The nation would always be grateful to these jawans, who sacrificed their lives. He also lauded the police personnel for performing their duties with utmost diligence. On this occasion, the DGP also read out the names of police martyrs of state police and Central Armed Police Forces to acknowledge the supreme sacrifices made by them.
