Kerala govt suspends two IAS officers on disciplinary grounds
The Kerala government on Monday suspended two officers of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) on disciplinary grounds.
Appointments Committee of the Union Cabinet has approved premature repatriation of Arun Kumar Mehta, Atal Dulloo and Manoj Kumar Dwivedi
The Centre on Friday prematurely repatriated three senior IAS officers to Jammu and Kashmir. The J-K government had sought repatriation of these officers as a number of IAS and KAS officers have either retired or were retiring during the current year.
The Appointments Committee of the Union Cabinet has approved premature repatriation of Arun Kumar Mehta, Atal Dulloo and Manoj Kumar Dwivedi to Jammu and Kashmir. An order to this effect has been issued by the Personnel Ministry.

Mehta, who is a 1988 batch IAS, is Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. Dulloo of 1989 and Dwivedi of 1997 batch IAS are Joint Secretaries in the Department of Rural Development and the Commerce Ministry respectively.

Former Bihar Governor Satya Pal Malik was on Thursday sworn in as the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir. He replaced NN Vohra, who was at the helm of affairs in the state for the past 10 years.
