After a prolonged delay, the result of the Bihar Police constable examination was declared by the Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC).
The exams were conducted by the Central Selection Board of Constable on 15-22 October 2017 across Bihar.
CSBC announced the results on the official website: csbc.bih.nic.in.
Over 11 lakh candidates appeared for just 9,900 vacancies.
The delay in the declaration of results was reportedly attributed to the improper filing of OMR sheets by the candidates. Since candidates didn’t file the OMR sheets correctly, the examiners had a tough time checking the papers.
Those who have qualified the written examination will now appear for the Physical Endurance Test (PET).
CSBC has set the date of the PET for 19 February. The venue of the test is Shaheed Rajendra Prasad Singh Government High School, also known as Patna High School, at Gardanibagh in the Bihar capital.
Candidates will have to successfully complete tasks such as running, high jumps and other exercises.
Roll numbers of all the candidates who cleared the written test have been listed in a pdf file which can be checked here.
