Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Friday extended greetings to people of the state and the country on the eve of Eid-Ul-Fitr.
In his message, Kumar expressed the wish that the festival would help strengthen a feeling of harmony and brotherhood in the society.

Kumar said that India is a great nation where mutual respect among people of different faiths is exemplary, an official statement said here.

“People share happiness by participating in each other’s festivals and they respect each-other’s religion which strengthens the state and the country which helps in maintaining unity and integrity of the country even at times of adverse situation,” the CM said in his message.
Kumar appealed to the people to celebrate Eid-Ul-Fitr with mutul cooperation, harmony, love and affection, an official release said.
