Death audit of road accident fatalities compulsory in Bengal
Death Audits in case of fatalities in road transport accidents (RTAs) will be compulsory in West Bengal, as per the latest order from the state Health Department.
The Saraswati Vandana Awards 2018 ceremony was held at Gyan Manch where various city schools were felicitated and awarded prizes for organizing spectacular Saraswati Pujas within their school premises.
The award distribution ceremony was graced by the presence of Mrs Sujata Dev, author of “Mohammad Rafi: The Golden Voice of The Silver Screen” and receiver of the title “Eminent Woman Achiever of Asia”.

Also present was Atin Ghosh, Member Mayor in Council, Health. Popular dancer Chaitali Ray performed Katthak to the invigorating tabla of Pandit Swarup Ghoshal and soon after the performance, the show proceeded to the awards distribution ceremony.

The first position was secured by Calcutta Jubilee Institution, followed by La Martinelle High School in the second position and Arya Vidya Mandir Primary School in the third.
Special Judges Awards were given to Hare School, Ballygunj Government High School and Apeejay School.
Among the other guests were K.K. Chowdhury,Vice- President of The Statesman, Amit Dev and well known photographer Atanu Pal alsograced the occasion.
