The BDJS state council that met in Chengannur on Sunday has decided not to campaign for BJP candidate PS Sreedharan Pillai in the upcoming Chengannurbypoll.
Talking to reporters after the meeting, BDJS president ThusharVellappally said that the party will cooperate with the BJP in the Chengannur bypoll only if the problems in the front are settled.

He further said the BDJS will not participate in the Chengannur by-election convention of the NDA.
