It would also reduce traffic congestion at Netaji Subhash Chowk and village Badshahpur, Singh said. The minister said that his political career began in 1987 and since then there was a demand of university in Gurugram. This demand was fulfilled by the BJP government and even classes have started in the university now.
Apart from this, construction work on boundary wall of medical college at Kherki Majra has also started. The work on 300-bedded hospital in Sector 67 would be undertaken in PPP mode and its tenders would be floated in October, 2018.
He said that it is a matter of pride for us that Dwarka Expressway, the costliest road of India would be established at a cost of about Rs 7,000 crore.
Even the KMP Expressway would be ready by this month which would entirely change the picture of Gurugram. He pointed out that after last year’s Diwali there was an increase in pollution in Gurugram, but after the KMP Expressway would become functional it would help in reducing the pollution because maximum diesel vehicles would pass through this expressway without entering the city.
On this occasion, Rao Narbir Singh appealed to the people to plant more trees so as to provide clean environment to the future generations.
