Cong’s show of admiration for Ambedkar nothing but drama: BJP
The BJP on Monday accused the Congress of invoking Bharat Ratna Bhimrao Ambedkar's legacy for its political purposes.
National Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president, Amit Shah is visiting Himachal Pradesh on 16 August to galvanise party leaders and cadres ahead of 2019 Lok Sabha polls.
During his one-day visit to Shimla, Shah would be accorded civic reception by the ruling party, before he attends a social media conference of the Swayam Sevis and then sits with the BJP MLAs, ministers and other leaders to take feedback and work out strategy.

A release by state BJP spokesperson, Randhir Sharma said Shah will meet the eleven membered election management committee of the party in view of forthcoming Lok Sabha polls.

BJP insiders said that while Shah will take stock of the party activities, he would have an account of the government functioning as well.
The party, sources said, has decided to go to Lok Sabha polls, cashing in on image of Chief Minister, Jai Ram Thakur- who has a common appeal and is easily accessible to people.
In 2014 polls, the BJP had won all the four Lok Sabha seats in HP. The party’s agenda to retain all the seats this time us a challenge, even the party leaders have admitted.
