Two higher secondary examinees have commited suicide in Purulia district barely few hours before the examination started.
The rath yatra will be organised in Asansol, Cooch Behar and Purulia Parliamentary constituency areas. The rath yatra will cover the several Assembly constituencies over the next few weeks.

The All India Forward Bloc (AIFB) is going to organise a ratha yatra to counter the BJP’s similar programme in the state before the Parliamentary polls.
General secretary, Forward Bloc, Naren Chatterjee has stated, a counter response to rath yatra of BJP will be organised in the state to preach against the communal and divisive politics of the saffron brigade and the Trinamul Congress.

The party is planning to organize the rath yatra in the three Parliament constituencies. The rath yatra will be organised in Asansol, Cooch Behar and Purulia Parliamentary constituency areas. The rath yatra will cover the several Assembly constituencies over the next few weeks.

Details regarding the rath yatra will be discussed during the party congress of the AIFB from 12 December to 16 December this year, he said. All the decisions regarding the rath yatra which will be organised by the AIFB will be made during the party conference in the presence of the party’s central and other states’ leaders. Party leaders will actively participate in the yatra.
The rath yatra is been named as “Netaji Sompriti Ratha Yatra” in memory of their party founder Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. Party sources said that the rath yatra will strengthen their party’s base in Purulia, Cooch Behar and Asansol, as several Facebook followers will join the campaign for the upcoming polls.
