BJP questions AAP’s women’s scheme
Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva on Monday accused Delhi Chief Minister Atishi of initiating registrations for a women’s honorarium scheme without proper notification or budgetary provision.
The party decided to suspend Holi celebrations to hold a massive protest on March 26.
Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Gopal Rai said on Friday that representatives of the INDIA bloc met the Election Commission and requested for an action on the arrest of Arvind Kejriwal.
Addressing a press conference here, the AAP leader said all the AAP MLAs, and MLCs ministers would gather at the Shaheedi Park at the ITO and take a pledge to save the country. “On Shaheed Bhagat Singh’s martyrdom day on March 23, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann will join all the AAP MPs and leaders and the INDIA leaders to take the pledge,” he added.

The Delhi minister informed that the AAP had appealed to the INDIA bloc leaders to join them in the pledge and said the party has suspended their celebrations of Holi.

He also informed about a massive protest to be staged on March 26, with a march towards the PM’s house.
The party will also reach out to the people and tell them about what was happening, while on Sunday will burn effigies as a mark of protest.
Earlier in the day, AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj claimed that there is a global uproar over the arrest of Delhi CM. He alleged that the ruling dispensation at the Centre disregarded basic human values.
On Thursday, following the arrest of the AAP chief, the party’s Delhi unit convener Rai gave a call for a nationwide protest against the BJP.
He termed Kejriwal’s arrest a “murder of democracy”.
The federal probe agency arrested Delhi CM in an excise policy-linked money laundering case on Thursday night, after quizzing him for about two hours, and later he was taken to the federal agency’s headquarters.
