AAP releases seventh and final list for Haryana assembly elections
On the last day of filing nominations for the Haryana Assembly elections scheduled to be held on October 5, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) released its seventh and final list on Thursday.
Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva on Tuesday hit out at the AAP claiming that after seeing the noose of the law tighten around the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, AAP leaders have forgotten that investigative agencies release press statements on the crucial developments related to every high-profile case.
Sachdeva said probe agencies like the Directorate of Enforcement (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) are continuously investigating matters related to scams and other high-profile cases, and have been giving their comments on the legal progress of the respective cases.
On Monday, when there was significant progress in the liquor scam investigation, the federal probe agency issued a press statement, indicating that there could be significant arrests in this case, but no individual’s name was mentioned, Sachdeva claimed.

The Delhi BJP chief further said that the way the entire AAP is making noise about Kejrwial’s possible arrest based on an anonymous statement from yesterday, it is making it evident that their leader is corrupt and his imprisonment is certain, Sachdeva claimed.
He added that an environment of CM’s arrest is being allegedly created based on an anonymous statement and the same is reminiscent of an old Hindi adage “chor ki dadhi mein tinka.”
Meanwhile, several former municipal councilors and senior leaders from the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi joined BJP here in presence of the saffron party’s Delhi unit chief.
“The leaders who have joined BJP today, despite having public support, have been deceived by their party,” Sachdeva claimed.
