Pakistani-made cartridges recovered in Sambhal violence investigation
The Uttar Pradesh Police has disclosed the recovery of foreign-made ammunition, including Pakistani cartridges, from the violence-hit area of Sambhal.
Three youths gangraped a class nine girl of Chhilaura village here and than uploaded the video on the social media giving it a communal twist. A case, however, has been registered against the trio accused after the medical examination of the victim which has confirmed rape.
The incident was reported with the 16-year-old minor girl in the afternoon of February 28 in village Chhilaura of Bhawanpur.
Three youths of the village who were waiting for the victim girl in the sugar cane field caught hold of her when she had gone there to throw garbage and raped her one after another. They were also shooting the video of this gangrape and hence threatened her not to tell anyone about this incident or else she would be killed and the video would be uploaded on the social media.

The traumatised girl did not utter a word about this incident to her family members until her condition deteriorated.
Meanwhile the notorious boys uploaded the video on the social media and sent it on different Whatsapp groups in the village which also reached the victim`s father who works in Ghaziabad. They also tried to give their misdeed a communal twist as the girl is from the other community.
Father immediately rushed to his village and having known about the incident from her daughter reached at the police station to lodge an FIR against the culprits.
"A case has been registered against Bhura, Asif and Salman and raids are being conducted for their arresting,” Station Officer Satendra Yadav said, adding that the medical examination of the victim was also done which confirmed of the rape.
