Two tourists from Punjab were on Sunday morning killed as boulders fell on their bike while they were riding in Reckong Peo area of Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh, around 230 km from here.
Police said the tragic accident took place at around 6 am when the duo was on their way to Kaza from Reckong Peo, the district headquarter of Kinnaur district. The tourists, identified as Ishan and Sunil Kumar, who were the residents of Zirakpur in Punjab, were riding towards Kaza when boulders fell on them that resulted in their deaths on the spot.

The police have recovered the dead bodies and have sent them for postmortem at a hospital in Reckong Peo. Police officials have informed the families of the victims and are awaiting their arrival to proceed further in the case.
