RICS appoints Aroon Kumar as Director of Marketing and Corporate Affairs for South Asia

Kumar was conferred Asia’s Best Marketer title in 2016, and was also listed in ‘Top 100′ Global MarTech Influencers’ by Onalytica in 2017.

The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) has announced the appointment of Aroon Kumar as Director, Marketing & Corporate Affairs, at RICS South Asia and RICS School of Built Environment.

Kumar has an experience of more than 15 years in global brand management, devising market strategies for various geographies.

Making the announcement, RICS CEO Sean Tompkins said, “Delighted to have someone of Aroon’s caliber in the team. I know he will make a significant contribution to our brand and success in South Asia and also support our global efforts more widely.”

RICS is a leading self-regulatory professional body for promoting and enforcing highest professional qualification and standards in the development and management of land, real estate, construction, and infrastructure.

An IIM-Calcutta alumnus, Kumar has also been Harvard Business School and Mudra Institute of Communication, Ahmedabad.

At RICS, Aroon Kumar will be responsible for designing and devising marketing plans, strategies and campaigns to reach out to employees, employers, industry analysts and other stakeholders.
