Reliance Industries Ltd on Friday announced Rs 11,367 crore stake sale in its technology arm, a third high profile investment in less than three weeks that has led Jio to raise total Rs 60,596.37 crore.
US-based private equity firm Vista Equity Partners is going to buy a 2.32 per cent stake in billionaire Mukesh Ambani’s Jio Platforms, for Rs 11,367 crore, the Mumbai-headquartered company said in a statement.
“This investment values Jio Platforms at an equity value of Rs 4.91 lakh crore and an enterprise value of Rs 5.16 lakh crore,” Reliance said in a statement.
