Air India buying 100 more Airbus planes
Air India on Monday confirmed it has placed an order to purchase 100 more Airbus aircraft, comprising 10 widebody A350 and 90 narrowbody A320 aircraft, including A321neo.
According to the minister, who also holds the charge of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, a “roadmap” for the same will be worked out.

“Visited the Airbus facility in Toulouse, France. Growing Indian aviation sector, stress on regional connectivity leading to more demand for aircraft. It is also an opportunity for global aircraft manufacturers,” the minister tweeted.
