Lufthansa Group Airlines has appointed George Ettiyilas its new Senior Director Sales South Asia with effect from February 2019. He will oversee all commercial activities of the Lufthansa Group Airlines, including Lufthansa German Airlines, SWISS, Austrian Airlines, and Brussels Airlines, in India, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.
Ettiyil has held several key positions within the Lufthansa Group for more than 20 years. He was Head of Global Sales Products & Programs for Lufthansa Group Hub Airlines and was responsible for the management of different stations and the field of business controlling in Germany and India at the Lufthansa headquarter in Frankfurt.
