Market snaps 2-day gains, selling in banking, metal and IT
At close, the Sensex was down 426.85 points or 0.53% at 79,942.18, and the Nifty was down 126 points or 0.51% at 24,340.85.
At 11.23 a.m., the Sensex was trading 153 points lower at 36,915.28 while the Nifty was down 47.80 points at 10,900.50.
Sensex dropped more than 150 points on Friday after opening greater over continuous international fund outflow and development issues.

The benchmark Sensex opened at 37,222.26, higher from its previous close of 37,068.93.
