The Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL), Guwahati, has released the recruitment notification for the year 2018 in order to fill 1,957 vacancies for various posts.

Interested candidates can apply on the official website-  https://www.apdcl.org

The application fee for Unreserved/ OBC/ MOBC Category is Rs. 500 and for SC/ST category is Rs. 250.

Posts: 1,957

  • Number of posts available for AAO (Assistant Accounts Officer): 60
  • Number of posts available for Office cum Field Assistant: 1,000
  • Number of posts available for Light Vehicle Driver: 25
  • Number of posts available for Sahayak: 872

This is how candidates will be selected:

  1. The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of a written test.
  2. The candidates selected in the written test will be called for Document Verification for the post of AAO (Assistant Accounts Officer), Office cum Field Assistant
  3. For the post of Sahayak, the candidates will be called for Document verification/ Physical Efficiency Test.
