In an email to franchises on Thursday, the IPL governing council has termed these tournament dates as windows, but it is likely that these will end up as the final dates for the competition.
Following days of anxiety among the students and teachers, the Mumbai University finally announced the dates of the semester-end exams late on Friday. The exams are set to start in April.

Quoting an official, The Times of India reports that teachers will have to start assessment work immediately after BCom final exams to ensure against delays.
The dates of the engineering exams are yet to be announced. Also, the schedule of the exams has not been released.
Yet the announcement has failed to alleviate the concerns of the teachers who claim they will be busy conducting exams till May and will therefore have time for assessment only in May, which is vacation time. This, according to a principal who spoke to TOI, will leave them without a break.
A delay in the assessment will also impact announcement of the results.
Teachers are also finding it difficult to finish the syllabus and assess all the assignments and projects before the examinations commence.
Students are advised to keep a tab on the official website of the Mumbai University for exam schedule.
