The results of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) 2018 will be released shortly. The examinations for Undergraduate, Postgraduate and PhD courses to ICAR were conducted under All India Entrance Examination for Admission (AIEEA) 2018 held on the June 22 and 23.
Candidates will have to check the official website of ICAR where the results will be released. The official websites are: www.icar.org.in and www.aieea.net.
The date of the release of results is, however, not clear. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official websites for updates.
According to reports the results were to be announced in the last week of June and the counselling process was scheduled to start from 1 July and but it will be pushed further due to the delay in the release of the results.
Counselling will be done online.
Candidates who qualify for counselling will be named in the ICAR AIEEA result which will be available in terms of overall merit-rank and category rank. Ranks of those who do not qualify in the Undergraduate course will not be declared.
Admissions to the various courses in agricultural universities will be done based on the Overall Merit Rank of ICAR AIEEA only. All other ranks are for information purposes only.
All agricultural universities have set aside 15 percent of their seats for Bachelor degree programmes for candidates selected via ICAR’s AIEE. Undergraduate candidates who take admission in colleges outside their domicile state are given a scholarship of Rs 2,000 per month via the National Talent Scholarship (NTS).
