It should be noted that this is the first merit list. The second merit list will be declared on 10 July.

All the students who have cleared their Class 10, or Matric, examinations and had applied for seats in arts, commerce and science streams can check the merit list to see their standings.
The first phase of the admission process will commence on 2 July and continue till 5 July. The second phase of counselling will be held on 11 and 12 July.
Courses will commence on 24 July.
Reports say that around 4,41,306 students had filled in forms for admission into about 2000 plus two junior colleges across the state.
Application forms for admission were filled from 1 June to 22 June, following a five-day extension to compensate for festivals like Rajo Sankranti and Eid-Ui-Fitr.
How to check admission rank list:
1 Go to official website: samsodisha.gov.in.
2 Find and click on link: ‘Higher Secondary School/Junior’ under School and Mass Education section.
3 The link will redirect to ‘Junior and Category Wise Rank List’.
4 Enter details such as registration number.
5 Check your rank.
