Faculty orientation programme at GLBIMR
The agenda of this programme was to familiarise new faculty members with the institutional policy framework, code of conduct, academic structure and teaching pedagogy.
Under the corporate talk series, GLBIMR organised a lecture on ‘Common Sense Management and Phone-Life Balance’.
Harit Kumar, Manager (DevOps), Motorola Mobility Suite, addressed the students and shared the latest developments regarding using phones as a medium of communication. The event took place under the guidance of Dr Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR.

Kumar spoke about the common sense management as a tool of intuitive leadership at a workplace. Sharing his life experiences, the students were introduced by him to the dynamic nature of common sense management as a tool to be practiced and not just gaining theoretical knowledge. The concepts discussed under the series by industry leaders were an enabler for GLBIMR-ians to emerge as game-changers.
Dr Makkar shared how the focus has changed from work-life balance to phone-life balance the recent times.
