Last date for exchanging Rs 2,000 notes today! What after the deadline?
It was however anticipated that the central bank would increase the deadline further, but nothing was heard from the bank on the same.
Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, (IIM-L) extended the last date of online registration for Common Admission Test (CAT 2017) to September 25.
While registration was to end on September 20, the authorities decided to extend the deadline for five-days. The registration for CAT 2017, which will be conducted by IIM-L, opened on August 9. IIM-L will be conducting CAT this year after a gap of seven years.

According to press statement of IIM-L, the date has been extended to accommodate more candidates since many have not been able to complete their online registration. Fresh candidates can also apply during the extended time window. After the submission of online application forms, candidates can download their admit cards from October 18 onwards till the CAT exam date.
CAT scores are accepted by the 20 IIMs and more than 100 business schools across the country. Around 4000 seats are offered through IIMs.
CAT 2017 will be conducted in test centres spread across 140 test cities. Candidates will be given the option to select four test cities in order of preference.
Test cities and centres will be assigned after the last date for CAT 2017 registration and hence candidates do not have to rush to block slots and cities in the initial days of registration.
The one day two-session exam is scheduled on November 26. The duration of the test will be 180 minutes and will have three sections.
Section I: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension
Section II: Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning
Section III: Quantitative Ability
