The UP board results for classes 10 and 12 are expected to be announced on the 15 April 2018.
According to a website, which goes by the name of www.examresults.net/up/, the evaluation of the answer sheets began on 17 March 2018.
It has been reported that 36,55,691 lakh candidates appeared for Class 10 examination and about 29,81,327 lakh for the Class 12 examination.
As per reports, lakhs of students didn’t enter the Class X, Class XII UP Board examination halls due to the anti-copying strictness by the examination authorities. It was also learnt that the CCTV cameras were installed across the examination centres.
According to media reports, the dropout rate was twice the previous year (2017), when around 5 lakh chose to not appear for the examinations.
This is seen as an outcome of the tight screening and anti-copying measures implemented by the government which had vowed to ensure there was no copying this year.
