Scooter driver arrested in Kasba councilor attack case
A scooter driver was arrested in connection with the attack on a councillor in Kasba. Police have arrested the accused, Laxman Sharma, from Vaishali in Bihar.
This year over 17 lakh students appeared for Class 10 examinations, while over 12 lakh candidates appeared for Class 12 examinations.
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will declare results for Class 10 and Class 12 examination in the first week of May. Candidates can check their results at the official website – biharboard.ac.in.
As per media reports, the education board is in the process of completing the evaluation and will likely release the results by first week of May.
The results for intermediate examination (Class 12) will be announced before matriculation exams (Class 10).

Most state boards across India are planning to announce Class 12 results early as the universities will release the admission forms for undergraduate courses.
As per media reports, the Bihar board had earlier intended to complete the evaluation process by 15 March, however the process got delayed, and had planned to release the result in April.

Bihar Board exam for intermediate was concluded on 16 February, 2018 and the board exam for matriculation concluded on 28 February, 2018.
Apart from the matriculation and intermediate school examinations, the BSEB also conducts departmental examinations (not on yearly basis) such as Diploma in Physical Education, Certificate in Physical Education and Teachers Training Examination on such terms and condition as laid down by the State Government.
