LG presides over convocation ceremony at IGDTUW
During the event, the L-G distributed graduation degrees to female students who completed their academic programs this session.

GL Bajaj Institute of Management and Research (GLBIMR), Greater Noida, organised its 9th annual convocation for the PGDM Batch 2016-18 on Friday (1 June 2018), in which 135 students were awarded post-graduate diploma in management.
The glittering award ceremony commenced with Saraswati Vandana in the presence of the chief guest of the ceremony, Noida MLA Pankaj Singh, and another distinguished guest Tejpal Singh Nagar, MLA, Dadri constituency. Pankaj Agarwal, Vice-Chairman, GL Bajaj Educational Institutions and Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR, were also present.

Agarwal extended a warm welcome to the eminent guests. He highlighted the importance of value-based education and work ethics in a cut-throat corporate setting.

Sharing the annual report of the institute, Urvashi Makkar highlighted the excellent placements of PGDM Batch 2016-18 and briefed about the outstanding academic progress, collaborative research and the achievements and awards won by the Institute.
The convocation address was delivered by chief guest Pankaj Singh. He congratulated the rank holders and all other students graduating from the institute. He motivated the young managers to emerge as future corporate leaders and contribute actively towards nation building.
In the convocation, meritorious students were awarded with medals for academic excellence. The medalists from PGDM 2016-18 batch were: Kanika Singh (gold ), Diksha Shukla (silver) and Sangeeta Yadav (bronze ). Along with the medals, the students were awarded cash prizes of Rs 15,000; Rs 10,000 and Rs 5,000, respectively.
Devendra Prasad Yadav, Kanika Singh and Subhodeep Chakraborty were honoured as specialisation toppers in marketing, human resource and finance, respectively.
Top ten meritorious students of PGDM 2016-18 and 2017-19 batches were awarded special merit certificates for their outstanding performance. During the scintillating ceremony, GLBIMR launched its Media Coverage Book, “Weaving a Tale of Success: Reflections of Media Coverage of GLBIMR” which showcases the extensive media coverage of the achievements of GLBIMR in the recent years.
The gala event witnessed participation of more than 400 students, parents and eminent guests from the media, corporate and academia.
