Teachers, who were severely attacked by a group of around 50 to 60 ‘outsiders’, allegedly belonging to the local Trinamul Congress unit, had alleged that Ahmed was instrumental behind the incident. With his instructions the ‘outsiders’ entered into the school premises and abused and beat up them, including women teachers inside the staff room.
The victims were protesting against their headmaster’s alleged corrupt practices in connection with financial irregularities in the school for long.
