Man stabs four in New Town
A person, reportedly a state government employee, stabbed at least four policemen on duty with a knife at New Town today. The person was arrested.
Two arms dealers were arrested here while trying to sell off arms and ammunition to some unidentified miscreants, police said on Thursday.
M. Ilyas and Abdul Ali were caught on Wednesday night, police added.

The unknown miscreants fled the spot, sensing trouble.

A 7mm pistol loaded with 5 cartridges was recovered from Ilyas while an improvised single-shot firearm along with 2 cartridges was recovered from Abdul Ali.
The pair has been sent to police custody until January 18.
