All the authorities and people of Nandan loved him because of his soft and calm nature,” said Papia Das, sister of Sajal Kanjilal. “I only hope that such a horrifying incident never happens again to anyone. My brother was a good and a happy man with a smile on his face always,” Rajkumar Mukherjee, brother of the deceased, reported.

“We have lodged an FIR against the Metro Railway on the ground of negligence. However, the administrative department was helpful and they have promised a fair investigation into the matter,” he added. “We want justice from the government. This has happened due to the extreme carelessness on the part of Metro railway authorities. These new coaches that have been introduced are not completely safe and secure for the citizens,” claimed by Subrata Das, brother-in-law of the deceased.
