Saif Ali Khan gets discharged from Lilavati Hospital
Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan on Tuesday reached his residence at Satguru Sharan apartment complex in Bandra West after being discharged from Lilavati Hospital.
Being scared with the scene, patients along with medical staff in the CCU informed the hospital authorities.
Poisonous snakes and rats were found inside the critical care unit (CCU) of the state-run Uluberia Sub Disivional Hospital at a time when the government is planning to set up a medical college inside the hospital premises.
Patients undergoing treatment inside the CCU housed in the ground floor of the twostoried hospital building got panicked with two snakes and several small rats found moving on the floor.

“Cleaning operation surrounding the building is going on and as a result of which snakes and rats were found on the floor of the CCU. Forest department personnel in the district rushed to the spot soon after we informed them about the same,” said Dr Sudeep Kanrar, superintendent of the hospital. Some employees of the hospital said that it has become a safe shelter for snakes, rats, cats. Hardly, three or four days ago snakes were spotted close to the same CCU.
Some medical equipment in the haematology department have also been damaged with rat menace inside the hospital, they alleged.
